FreeDV 2.2.1 released

FreeDV 2.2.1 has been released, containing bugfixes for issues discovered since the release of 2.2.0 along with a change to ensure continued operation of the FlexRadio integration. It can be downloaded using the following links:

    Congrats for very good and hard job with freedv software,
    I am very newbe to freedv mode and i am wondering to know how can i buid in a BER intex factor
    to read the quality ratio?

    Thank you for fast reply..
    At first i thinking MER index is very useful measures constellation quality for checking SSB linearity , detecting power amplifier saturation and overdrive , finding distortion and noise.
    Very good results may have also with FER index to avoid robotic sound ,dropouts ,underwater audio
    effect and mute periods..
    I don’t know if someone was try something simmilar let me know..
    Next days i will try some lines of code.

      John – please read the RADE intro PDF and paper from the “RADE Resources” section of the RADE page on this web site. RADE has no internal bit stream, and the constellation looks like noise. BER/FER all have no meaning in RADE. This is an entirely new paradigm.
